We like to think the club is a social club for like-minded people – that enjoy living their lives to the full – so if you have interests or hear about an activity that you think some other member may like to know about, here is where you can find out about it.
We'll endeavour to keep things up-to-date or just check us out on Facebook.
Hi Frankfurt Ski Club family,
Join us for the AGM, then relax and enjoy the BBQ! We'll provide the meat, drinks, charcoal, and buns. Please bring a side dish and maybe a dessert to share.
SAVE THE DATE – ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
When: Sunday, 7th September
Where: Cronberger Anlage 13 on “Frankfurter Bogen” / Alkmenestraße 60, Preungesheim
- Grill & mingling start 15:00
- Club report, board elections & release of the 2025-26 Trip Schedule begin 16:00
We’ll provide grilled food and drinks. Please add to the feast with a side, salad, or dessert for our pot-luck table – think of it as team carb-loading!
Getting there:
- U-Bahn / Tram 18 to “Alkmenestraße”
- Drivers: set your GPS to Alkmenestraße 60 and follow FSC signs; the entrance is behind the playground at Cronberger Anlage 13.
Your club needs you! Please come along and support us. Guests are welcome after the AGM – invite friends and colleagues.
Proxy Votes
It is important that members attend in order to let their opinions known and vote in person. However, if you cannot attend the AGM, you can authorize another member by written proxy to vote on your behalf. You need to send an "authorization email" (which clearly shows your name and membership number) to both the member that will vote on your behalf (‘proxy’), and to publicity@fscev.org. The proxy must print out the email and bring it with them. Authorization by email will cease at 18:00 on 29th Aug 2025!
Note: a member may not be a proxy for more than three members.
Motion of Members
Members may submit motions as an agenda item to the Board, in writing, by 18:00 on 29th Aug 2025. No motions from members will be considered after this deadline. Please send an email to info@fscev.org or write to Frankfurt Ski, Snowboard, Sports and Social Club, Willemerstr. 15, 60594 Frankfurt.
Joining the Board
Any of you wishing to nominate yourself for a BOARD POSITION, or wish to volunteer to help, should contact us. We do have candidates for all the elected board positions, but you are of course very welcome to run for a position as well - let’s have a real election! We will be electing: President, VP - Activities, Treasurer, Secretary and VP - Communications
Please email president@fscev.org if you are interested (no later than 29th Aug 2025).
Trips
Come and enjoy the BBQ while discovering all the exciting trips planned for the season! We’re especially thrilled to announce a special adventure to Lapland next season – this is one you won’t want to miss!
Trips Updates & Volunteer call-out
We’re putting the final wax on an exciting roster of bus and U-drive adventures across the Alps – full details drop right after the AGM.
To keep those trips carving smoothly, we need TRIP CAPTAINS:
Perks: €12 per participant (plus any free lift-pass bonuses).
Support: The board handles hotels, buses, and lift tickets—you rally the crew and keep the stoke high.
Interested? Talk to our Trip Director at Wednesday’s social or email trips@fscev.org.
Early-bird pricing starts with the season, so stay tuned and be ready to pounce like a snowboarder on first powder.
PRELIMINARY TRIP LIST | 2025/26
We are updating our trips. Keep checking back for any updates. Please be patient whilst we are preparing the trip program for the coming season.
Prost!
See you Wednesday with a cold drink in hand,
and on 7th September for the official season kick-off. Until then, may your thoughts be as cool as fresh corduroy.
Happy turns,
The Frankfurt Ski Club Board
The right slope awaits no matter what your ability level; deep-snow and mogul runs, carving hills and freerides, along with family runs, bring all the variety to your ski vacation you could possibly wish for.
During the current coronavirus pandemic the club will have to react appropriately to changes in regulations and conditions. Any member who signs up trips will be entitled to free cancellation if the destination is deemed to be in a risk area at the time of trip departure (unless you are otherwise informed).
As always we strive to have a good balance of short and longer trips, value and comfort, favourite and new destinations, early and late departures. Take a look at what we did last season.

Some FSCers take their winter sports more seriously than others do. Such dedicated people are know around Frankfurt (and other regions of the world) as "SKIBUMS".
You too can become a SKIBUM. It’s quite simple, albeit a tad pricey. Anyone who participates in FSC trips totalling a given number of days or more during the current season becomes a SKIBUM, receiving a specially designed t-shirt of recognition (arguably the most expensive ‘freebie’ in the world). It’s our little way of thanking dedicated FSC members for the time (and money) they invested in their favourite pastime.
Here are a few old favourite locations from past seasons for your viewing pleasure.
