The biggest of Austria's magnificent glaciers, the extensive lift system in Stubai will take you to the "Top of Tyrol" where you will enjoy three days of fantastic glacier skiing! With 26 lifts and 65km of runs to suit all levels, Stubai is sure make every skier and boarder more than happy. Stubai is also a mecca for freeriders; FSCeV recommends going off-piste ONLY with a qualified guide and fully equipped. If you are a good enaough skier and conditions permit you can finish the ski day by skiing to the base on Ski Route No. 14 - Wilde Grub'n - one of Stubai's three 10km runs.
Take the opportunity to visit the Ice Grotto. Enjoy lunch on the slopes at the "gemütliche" Dresdener Hütte. And of course at the end of the day, you won't be able to miss the local Austrian après-ski that kicks off on the glacier at the Eissee-Schirmbar or at the bottom of the mountain at the Mutterbergalm.
We are staying at the four star Hotel zum Brennerspitz in Neustift-Milders. The hotel's spa area has an indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, inra-red, solarium - and a Kneipp cure (check it out!). Local buses or the ski club bus will take us to the glacier every day.
During the current coronavirus pandemic the club will have to react appropriately to changes in regulations and conditions. Cancellation procedures are being looked at if the destination is deemed to be in a risk area at the time of trip departure. Please try to support the club as much as you can so that we can offer you the best trips to the mountains.
We are doing our best to offer exciting and safe trips for our season 2024 / 25. Please try to support the club as much as you can so that we can offer you more trips to the mountains.
