The Resort
Live right on the slopes – this is Val Thorens.
At 2,300 m, Europe’s highest ski resort offers unrivaled access: step out of your apartment, click into your skis or strap into your board, and you’re instantly part of the legendary Trois Vallées. With over 600 km of pistes, this is the world’s largest connected ski area, where beginners find gentle glacier runs, intermediates can cruise endless reds, and experts tackle steep descents and off-piste challenges (always best with a guide if you want powder, not problems). Add in high-altitude snow reliability and sweeping views across the French Alps, and you’ve got a ski experience of pure superlatives. As well as Val Thorens you have the opportunity to explore Courchevel, Méribel, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, and Orelle.

Lodging & Comfort
We’ll stay in self-catered apartments at Résidence Le Chamois d’Or, located right at the heart of Val Thorens. Here, it’s all about freedom: cook and dine with friends, relax in your private space, and enjoy the convenience of true ski-in/ski-out living. The shops, restaurants, and après-ski spots of Val Thorens are just outside your door, so whether you prefer cosy nights in or lively evenings out, the choice is yours. It’s mountain life at its most flexible – comfortable, social, and right on the piste.

There is car parking at the Résidence for a fee. Alternatively fly or train to Geneva Airport and take a bus transfer for approximately €100.
