Discover alpine tradition in Davos, a resort that combines historic charm with world-class skiing. Nestled high in the Swiss Alps, Davos is famous not only as a host of international events, but also as one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland. With over 250 km of pistes shared between Davos and Klosters, you’ll find everything from gentle beginner runs to long cruising reds and challenging black descents. Wide slopes, reliable snow, and stunning mountain panoramas make it an elegant yet relaxed playground for skiers and boarders alike. And while Davos carries a reputation for prestige, the experience here feels more like quiet luxury – authentic, natural, and timeless.
Lodging & Comfort
We stay at the Hotel Montana, located in the heart of Davos. This traditional Swiss hotel offers us a cozy B&B base with comfortable rooms and hearty alpine atmosphere – perfect for restoring energy after a day on the mountain. Evenings are a chance to unwind in good company, perhaps with a glass of wine in the lounge or a stroll through the village atmosphere of Davos. Expect classic Swiss hospitality: understated, genuine, and with that special attention to detail that makes a short getaway feel truly refreshing.Take the option of traditional fondue at the charismatic rustic Teufi on Saturday night!
The Montana is one minute walk from Davos Dorf station – easy to get to from Frankfurt! It is also three minutes walk from the Parsenn Bahn – the main ski area! The ski passes are included and also provide access to the Jakobshorn area – well worth exploring and easily accessible by the local bus network.
And last but not least: Don't forget to bring a small inexpensive gift to share in our Secret Santa!
We are doing our best to offer exciting and safe trips for our season 2024 / 25. Please try to support the club as much as you can so that we can offer you more trips to the mountains.
