Thank you for all those of you that attended our successful and very enjoyable BBQ & AGM event – it was fantastic to see so many of you after so long! Not to worry if you missed out as there is another chance to get together during our live social this coming Wednesday evening! We will be at our previous social location Waxy's in a specially reserved location for the ski club to ensure the highest level of safety for our members. Waxy's are currently asking visitors to abide by the standard 3G rules, so please make sure to bring your vaccine passes, negative test results or proof of recovery. We will keep you informed should these requirements change and look forward to seeing lots of you there!
There are currently four trips available for sign up, and one more – St. Anton – will open at the social. Details of these can be found on the website www.fscev.org.
It goes without saying that the Avalanche Awareness Course is a must for those who enjoy free riding or want to learn how to do so. This will take place on the 10th of October at the same location as our AGM BBQ. IMPORTANT: Please email email@example.com ASAP if you want to attend so we can be sure to have the minimum number of attendees. The price will be 30 euros, including lunch and soft drinks.
Our great value early season weekend in the world-famous resort of Davos is not one to be missed. This takes place from the 10-12 December and your skipass is included in the price!
Siegi Tours are again offering excellent value Christmas and New Year trips based in St. Veit. The lessons/guiding are highly recommended.
Our week-long trip to Val Thorens is another must, with ski in/ski out accomodation surrounded by some of Europe’s best skiing. Please contact the TCs for more details on these trips.
After very high levels of demand, the all-inclusive trip to Club Med in St. Moritz from 15-19 December is currently waitlisted. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the list in case more places become available. We have now replanned our trips for November and aim to go to Sölden for Thanksgiving this year! The website and trip list will be updated accordingly soon.
We look forward to seeing you all soon at a social!
All the best,
Your FSC e.V. Board
It was good to see a great group continuing the tradition and getting into the spirit of the Oktoberfest. Hopefully sometime soon we will all be able to "Maß" (pun) together and say Prost!
The right slope awaits no matter what your ability level; deep-snow and mogul runs, carving hills and freerides, along with family runs, bring all the variety to your ski vacation you could possibly wish for.
We were so excited to see many of you at our 2020/2021 Season Opening BBQ Party! Sorry to thouse who could not join due to number restrictions etc.
Here's what you missed:
During the current coronavirus pandemic the club will have to react appropriately to changes in regulations and conditions. Any member who signs up trips will be entitled to free cancellation if the destination is deemed to be in a risk area at the time of trip departure (unless you are otherwise informed).
We hope that our Wednesday Socials will commence forthwith. Covid-19 restrictions in place for each event at that time will be applied and details will be announced nearer to the time. We are constantly researching whether it is practical to host winter socials this season and we will keep you posted on this point.
As always we strive to have a good balance of short and longer trips, value and comfort, favourite and new destinations, early and late departures.
