The Resort

141 kilometres of piste, and the best value on our whole calendar. Silvretta Montafon runs from 700 m all the way up to 2,430 m on 35 lifts, which is a serious amount of mountain for a two-night weekend. Long reds for people who like to keep moving, wide open blues for anyone still finding their feet, and steep terrain plus freeride lines for those who want them, always with a guide. Vorarlberg has never shouted about itself the way its neighbours do. That is exactly why the prices are what they are, and why the huts still feel like huts.

Lodging & Après-Ski

Your ski pass doubles as your train ticket. We are based at the Alpstadt Lifestyle Hotel in Bludenz with half board included, and the ride up to the slopes is covered by the pass, so mornings sort themselves out. Leave your gear in the depot at the mountain and walk home empty-handed. Then there is Bludenz itself: they have been making Milka chocolate here since 1907, the Fohrenburg brewery just next to our hotel has been going since 1881, and there is bowling and lasertag next door for anyone still feeling competitive after a full day. You will not get bored!

Good to Know

The Milka factory shop is walking distance from the hotel. Your bag will be heavier going home than it was coming out.
