The club Christmas party, but with 97 kilometres of piste attached. Davos in December is the Alps waking up properly: wide, freshly groomed runs on Parsenn, long classic descents that just keep unrolling, including the famous twelve-kilometre drop all the way down to Küblis. Want it livelier? Jakobshorn on the other side of town has belonged to the freestyle crowd since the eighties. Two mountains, one ski pass in your pocket from the moment you arrive, and a proper Swiss town in full December mode underneath it all. Two days are going to go very fast.

Lodging & Après-Ski

Hotel Montana, Davos Dorf, one minute from the Parsennbahn, ski pass included. Which in practice means: ski until the lifts stop, walk home, and have a drink in hand before your boots are off. The Montana Bar downstairs is where the evening starts, and this is the trip where Secret Santa happens, so pack something small and ideally ridiculous alongside your goggles. The B&B provides you with comfortable rooms, so it is easy to recharge after all the Secret Santa excitement. Also, the train station is on the doorstep – perfect if you are coming by train from Frankfurt!
