This will be a multi activity trip – you choose on a daily basis between downhill skiing (Levi and Ylläs), cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice-karting, husky sledding, visit to an ice hotel, sauna on the lake, and many others. The activities vary in price from less than €50 up to €150. At this time of year there is an excellent chance of seeing the Northern Lights – aurora borealis. This trip was a huge success in 2010.
We will be returning to the Hotel Hullo Poro (Crazy Reindeer) – staying in the annexe where we can relax in the sauna area and if the day’s activities were not exhausting enough the hardcore can work out in the fitness room.
During the current coronavirus pandemic the club will have to react appropriately to changes in regulations and conditions. Cancellation procedures are being looked at if the destination is deemed to be in a risk area at the time of trip departure.
